Cut your potatoes in this manner. The end product is a wonderful bloomin’ baked potato to die for. I’ve always enjoyed baked potatoes, but the standard baked potato only goes so far.
This is the best-baked potato dish ever!
For good reason, baked potatoes are one of my favorite foods.
They’re very simple to prepare, delicious, and full. It’s a victory in every way!
However, your standard baked potato will only go you so far. I mean, the traditional baked potato dish with sour cream, chives, and yogurt is pretty much the same.
However, I recently discovered an extremely delicious baked potato dish from Tonia of The Gunny Sack, and I can’t wait to share it with you.
He names the dish Bloomin’ Baked Potato, and I’m sure it’ll be a success with you and your family.
She made a delicious baked potato with cheese and bacon that is both crispy and tasty.
To begin, gather the necessary ingredients:
- Potatoes, Yukon Gold
- Extra virgin olive oil
- Salt Of The Sea
- Cheddar cheese, shredded
- Bacon shards
Bake the potatoes at 425°F on a baking sheet lined with foil.
Cut your potatoes in this manner.
Next, chop the potatoes’ tops off. Then, cut rings around the interior of the potato with a tiny knife.
Cut all the way around the potato after flipping it over.
Make careful to leave a tiny amount of the top uncut.
These incisions must go all the way through the potato’s core.
Flip the potato carefully to the other side.
Check to see if any of the cuts need to be made deeper, and then make the appropriate cuts.
Season the potatoes with sea salt after brushing them with olive oil.
Place the potatoes on a baking sheet lined with foil and bake at 425°F.
After 30 minutes, remove them from the oven and spray the tops with more olive oil and sprinkle with sea salt. Then put them back in the oven for another 30 minutes.
After an hour of baking, top the potatoes with shredded cheese.
Return them to the oven to allow the cheese to melt. This should only take around 5 minutes.
Remove the potatoes from the oven after the cheese has melted and sprinkle with bacon pieces. After that, serve!
Isn’t this delectable? Other toppings, such as sour cream and onions, are optional.
