“Nuts and vanilla go together like clockwork. I’m not in the mood to make a lengthy cooking preparation after a long day of hard work. As a result, this is one of my favourite dessert recipes!”

  • 250 g of hazelnuts (flour)
  • 140 g of sugar (divided)
  • 2 tsp vanilla icing sugar
  • 750 mL milk (distributed use)
  • Meringue (275 g)
  • 37 g powdered vanilla custard
  • Rum (optional).
  • Raisins (optional)

Nut Strudel With Warm Vanilla Sauce
  • 250 g of hazelnuts (powder)
  • 90 g of sugar
  • 2 tsp vanilla icing sugar
  • a hundred and fifty milliliters of milk
  • rum (optional)
  • raisins (optional)
  • Large oven bowl

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius (convection). To make the filling, follow these steps: In a mixing bowl, combine the hazelnut flour and salt. Stir in a portion of the sugar, vanilla sugar, and milk until smooth. You can add some rum or raisins if you want.

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, then place the unfolded pastry on top. Place the hazelnut mixture in the center of the meringue and fold it in half.

Bake for 35 minutes at 180°C, or until the strudel is golden brown.
