  • 2 cloves garlic

How To Make Pineapple Sour Chicken.

  • 1 red sweet pepper
  • 1 yellow sweet pepper
  • 1 onion
  • 2 cloves
  • garlic 200 g
  • pineapple 400 g
  • chicken breast
  • Knife chopping board

Remove the seeds and stems of the bell pepper, and cut them into strips.

Cut the onion in half and cut into half-moon shapes, mince the garlic.

Peel the pineapple, cut it into small pieces, and cut the chicken breast into strips.

To make tempura batter: add flour, baking powder, starch, a quarter of sunflower oil, and water to a bowl.

Stir to combine, add chicken strips, and coat.

Heat the remaining sunflower oil in a wok to above 170°C, add the chicken and fry it until golden on both sides.

Place the fried chicken on a dish lined with kitchen paper towels to drain the oil.

  • 3 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1½ tablespoons soy sauce
  • 60 ml cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame
  • seeds (for serving)

Pour out most of the oil in the wok, add onion and garlic and stir fry for about 30 seconds, add sweet peppers and fry for about 1 minute, add pineapple and fry for about 1 minute or longer, add sugar, and let the sugar slightly caramelize.

Add tomato sauce, light soy sauce, and cider vinegar and cook together for about 4 minutes.

Add chicken, mix and stir fry.

Before serving, sprinkle some sesame seeds and serve with rice, and put some green onions on top. Enjoy!
