Skillet Spaghetti recipe

Skillet spaghetti is a wonderful recipe that is very effective. Spaghetti pasta is cooked in sauce. This means you don’t have to boil a large pot of water to cook pasta. You will love this simple five-ingredient recipe, and it may become a regular dish for your meal rotation

Often when the pasta starts to soften, be sure to stir the pan so that you can separate it carefully with a spoon. When it is cooked in sauce, pasta tends to stick together. You don’t want to bite into some uncooked spaghetti!

You can use your own homemade meatballs or use pre-cooked frozen meatballs to make this simple recipe. As a bonus, pasta has a wonderful taste because it can soak all the herbs and spices in the sauce.

I sometimes wish to start a recipe by cooking chopped onions and some garlic in a little olive oil. Then add the pasta sauce and water and continue the recipe. In fact, you can also add other vegetables, such as chopped carrots or chopped zucchini, just to make the dishes more nutritious. Skillet Spaghetti recipe

Serve this dish with some toasted garlic bread and a green salad sprinkled with mushrooms and cherry tomatoes. Italian salad dressing is perfect on salads.

What do you need

  • 1 Bottle (28 Ounces) Spaghetti Sauce
  • 1-1 / 2 Cups of Water
  • 24 Frozen Pre-Cooked Meatballs
  • 1 (16 Ounce) Package Spaghetti Pasta, Divided in Half
  • 1 Cup Shredded Partially Skimmed Mozzarella Cheese
  • 1/2 Cup Grated Parmesan Cheese

How do I do this

In a 12-inch frying pan, mix the pasta sauce and water, stir and mix, and bring to a boil over medium heat.

Add the meatballs and spaghetti that are still frozen and stir well, making sure that the spaghetti is completely covered under the sauce and completely covered inside. If necessary, you can add another 1/4 to 1/2 cup of water to ensure that all the pasta is covered.

After boiling again, cover the frying pan, reduce the heat, and simmer for 20 to 25 minutes, stirring frequently.

As a pasta chef, you need to stir more frequently to ensure that the spaghetti does not stick together and that the sauce does not burn while cooking. The water in the sauce is really consumed by the pasta, so be careful with this.

If the mixture looks too dry, you can add more water or tomato paste. Skillet Spaghetti recipe

Cook until the spaghetti is hot and the meatballs are hot. Both types of cheese can be served immediately.
