Crockpot Mac and cheese. This delicious and comfortable version of macaroni and cheese cooks in your crockpot-yes, even pasta! You need to carefully observe the timing of this recipe; don’t do it and then leave home for a few hours. Remember, every crockpot cooks a little differently. Know your work before making this recipe.

You can use different types of pasta in this recipe, but the cooking time will be different. Compare the cooking time of your selected pasta box and a box of macaroni pasta. Increase the cooking time of the slow cooker by the same ratio.

You can also change the cheese you use in this recipe. Try a combination of Colby and Havarti, or use Gouda and provolone. However, you need to use American cheese.

The ingredient contains stabilizers and emulsifiers, which can make the dishes creamy and prevent them from breaking. Crockpot Mac and cheese

This hearty dish is perfect to serve on cold winter evenings. Add a crisp vegetable salad or fruit salad and some toasted garlic bread. For dessert, some brownies or chocolate cakes will be the perfect finishing touch.

What do you need

  • 1 (10 oz) Container Frozen Alfredo Sauce
  • 1 (12 ounces) Can Evaporate Milk
  • 1-1/3 Cups Whole Milk
  • 1 Egg
  • 2 tablespoons of Dijon Mustard
  • 1/2 Pound (8 Ounces) Macaroni Pasta
  • 2 Cups Cheddar Cheese
  • 2 Cups Shredded American Cheese
  • 1/4 Cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • 3 tablespoons Butter, Melted
  • 1/8 teaspoon White Pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 cup Melted Butter
  • 1-1 / 2 Cups Breadcrumbs

How do I do this

Spray the pot with non-stick cooking spray and set it aside.

In a large bowl, beat the Alfredo sauce with freshly evaporated milk, eggs and mustard. Stir the macaroni and all the chopped cheese, 3 tablespoons of melted butter, pepper, onion and garlic powder and salt; mix well.

Pour this mixture into the prepared slow cooker. Cook on low for 3 to 4 hours; test to make sure the macaroni is cooked.

When this dish is cooking, do not stir or remove the lid, otherwise the pasta will take longer to cook and will cook unevenly.

To complete the recipe, you can add crispy breadcrumbs on top. Melt 1/4 cup butter in a small pot. Add the breadcrumbs and bread, stirring constantly, heat on medium heat for 3 to 5 minutes, or until the breadcrumbs are brown and fragrant. Sprinkle the crumbs on the apples and cheese before serving.
